Havering Business Awards 2013

I am so proud to have been involved with Havering Business Awards 2013 which took place last night. Now in its' 9th year, the ceremony recognises, promotes and celebrates enterprise in our borough.

Comedian Rory Bremner

I was there with the wonderful Havering Music Makers recreating the world of gangsters, molls, bellhopps and flappers in 1920s America.

Comedian Rory Bremner hosted the event who we met backstage. He came to say hello to us and proved to be no less than a genuine, charming, and down-to-earth guy. On stage he had the audience in stitches with his hilarious political satire, and he made me long for the days of Bremner, Byrd and Fortune.
